Privacy notice
What this website and the DTR Vantage licensing portal record about you, why, who handles it, and how long it is kept. Last updated October 17, 2026.
In short: each page you open on dtrvantage.com is recorded once, with your IP address, for 30 days, so we can see which pages are read and how people find us. If you ask for a trial or for Toolkit access, we keep what you give us and where you first came from. We do not sell personal information, run advertising trackers or set cookies on this website. The DTR Vantage product, installed on your own server, sends nothing to us unless you switch a cloud opt-in on; see the security page.
When you open a page
Your browser sends a short note to our licensing portal (licensing.dtrvantage.com) with the page's address and the site that sent you. The portal records one visit:
- the time and the page (for example /pricing.html);
- your IP address;
- its approximate location (city, region, country), as our hosting provider Cloudflare reports it;
- your browser, operating system and kind of device, from your browser's user agent;
- the name of the website that sent you (for example google.com), never the full link or what you searched for.
Visit records are deleted after 30 days. Robots that identify themselves are not recorded. When we look at the records we look up the public name registered for an address (a reverse DNS lookup), and read from it whose network the address is on; for most home connections it names only the internet provider. Those names are kept 7 days. The free tools under /tools/ send no such note: their pages promise that nothing you load into them leaves your browser.
Where you first came from
The first time you arrive, the page keeps in your own browser's local storage, under the name dtrv_from, what brought you (a link's ?from=, the site that sent you, or "direct") and the page you landed on. It is no cookie and is replaced after 30 days. It is added to the links to our licensing portal and to the contact form, so that a trial request, a Toolkit request or a message says where it came from. Clear your browser's site data to remove it.
When you ask for a trial, Toolkit access or write to us
- Trial and Toolkit requests (licensing portal): your name, e-mail address, organisation, what you tell us, your password stored only as a one-way hash, the address you signed up from, and where you first came from. We use them to decide the request, to write to you about it and to run your account.
- The contact form is delivered to us by Web3Forms, with hCaptcha checking that a person sent it. We receive what you type and where you first came from.
We keep account information while your account is open; ask us to close it and we delete what is stored with it, except what the law requires us to keep.
Cookies
This website sets none. The licensing portal sets one first-party sign-in cookie when you sign in, which ends when you sign out or after you have been idle.
Who handles information for us
| Company | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosts this website, carries the traffic to the licensing portal, and reports a visitor's approximate location. |
| Web3Forms and hCaptcha | Deliver the contact form to us and check it was sent by a person. |
| Google Fonts | Serves the typeface these pages use; your browser asks Google for it. |
| Our e-mail provider | Sends the e-mails the licensing portal writes (address confirmations, replies to requests). |
We sell nothing to anyone and share nothing beyond these.
